If you follow us on social media then you would have noticed that I was in Melbourne last week. One of the highlights of my trip was seeing Vesco Jolevski's gargantuan and very gorgeous new shop in Deer Park. It's not finished yet but it's not far off. I reckon he's going to be hard to beat in the best new shop category in Victoria this year for the Paint & Panel awards. If you know of a better new shop then make sure you nominate them for the awards now.
While I was there I took a short video to try to give some idea of the scale we're talking here - we'll be writing more in the May edition of the magazine. If you know Vesco don't call him to say 'wow' as he's very busy trying to finish the shop to get some work through it doors so it can start paying back his substantial investment - just leave him a 'well done' through our disqus comments.
