Save time and limit pushback with competitive parts pricing upfront
When preparing your first estimate on an insurance quote, sourcing competitive parts prices from the start can save you unnecessary adjustments and back-and-forth with assessors later. There are multiple parts sourcing platforms that allow you to send requests to multiple suppliers in one go. Even if you’re working on a near-new vehicle with limited options, casting a wide net gives you a complete 'not able to supply report' including who could supply, who couldn’t, whether parts were insurance grade, and the list prices.
Submit that as a PDF with your estimate, and the assessor can see you’ve already explored parallel, second-hand, and OEM options. This due diligence reduces the opportunity for them to knock items back or haggle – making approvals faster and smoother.
