Bennett Machine tools continues to install the latest technology USI ITALIA spraybooths around Australia.

With traditional technologies spraybooths performance and consumptions were highly influenced by the extent of the painter's knowledge of the booth and its features – Chronotech EPS (Easy Paint System) spraybooth revolutionises this concept.

With the DGTouch control panel, the painter's attitude and ability in carrying out a job process is perfectly integrated with an intelligent system that saves time and mone – achieving a high performance and energy efficient spraybooth.

USI Chronotech EPS spraybooth controls the booths’ airflow and heat to suit the specific job being processed in order to achieve the fastest and most cost-effective cycle.  One of the main features of this smart looking booth is that it is designed for the future, developed for spraying solvent and water-borne paints with settings for plastic, carbon fibre and aluminium operations.

USI DGT Management system is ‘linked through to the office’ to analyse costs of the jobs processed, giving a much clearer view of all of spraying and drying operations, not only on each job but also for each individual operative.  By giving valuable data, DGT manager allows to review and update the processes and ensure that bodyshops are working as efficiently as possible. This means that the bodyshop manager can now know the true running costs for each job.

The DGTouch control panel connects directly to USI ITALIA customer service which allows support technicians to make a quick and efficient diagnosis of the status of the equipment.

USI Chronotech EPS spraybooth increases both productivity and efficiency, significantly minimising drying times which results in improved sales and profits.

USI ITALIA is the preferred spray booth supplier for the Mercedes AMG Peteronas Formula 1 team and created the Axalta regional training centre in Western Sydney.

USI ITALIA created the training centre at Axalta’s new Sydney headquarters. Head of training Paul Polverino said: “We were impressed by the overall efficiency and energy savings that the USI booth could deliver.

“Each booth is fitted with a heat exchanger, that allows the cold incoming air to be ‘pre-heated’ at no cost or energy use. This is done by heating the exchangers with exhausted hot air from previous spraying and bake cycles.

Due to the set up implemented, the booth heat up times are very quick,” he said.
