A new direct-to-plastic additive from Standox is coming soon. Combined with Standox VOC Xtreme Filler U7600 and Standox VOC Xtreme Wet-on-Wet Filler U7650, the Standox VOC Xtreme Plastic Additive U7660 enables the application of the VOC Xtreme undercoats directly to plastic parts, with the required adhesion properties to most common exterior plastic car parts.
With this new direct-to-plastic additive, the Standox VOC Xtreme Filler U7600 and Standox VOC Xtreme Wet-on-Wet Filler U7650 now require fewer process steps and products for the repair of plastic parts. It can be used in all filler colours, from pure white to black.
This innovation strengthens the Standox VOC Xtreme portfolio, by introducing the fastest repair system for plastic substrates to the refinish market and delivers maximum efficiency. The Xtreme System provides optimal balance between energy savings and throughput. At low temperatures, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 70 percent. On the other hand, bodyshops can use the Xtreme System to reduce the time required for a standard repair - including flash-off and drying times - to around one hour, enablinghigher throughput and making small repairs more profitable.
