SATA is giving refinishers new ways to combine professional spray technology with individuality and application-specific functionality through a series of limited-edition jet X spray guns.
The 2026 releases comprise the artist-designed jet X by Stilbruch and dedicated jet X basecoat and clearcoat Editions, with the new models making their debut at Automechanika Frankfurt in September.
The standout visually is the jet X by Stilbruch, created in collaboration with automotive painter, sprayer and artist Alex Bloch. Its distinctive finish combines elements of graffiti, action painting and comic-inspired design, effectively turning a working spray gun into something of a collector’s piece.
Importantly, the limited-edition treatment does not come at the expense of choice. The Stilbruch model is DIGITAL ready and offered with RP and HVLP nozzle options.
For painters more interested in quickly identifying the right gun for the job, SATA has taken a different approach with its basecoat and clearcoat Editions.
Contrasting colours and laser-etched markings distinguish the two. The red clearcoat Edition is offered in RP 1.2 or 1.3 configurations, while the black basecoat Edition comes with a 1.3 nozzle in either RP or HVLP form.
Both are DIGITAL ready and incorporate the latest jet X refinements. These include improved surface properties intended to make cleaning easier, enhanced sealing, an improved trigger and optimised retaining screw, along with updates to the air micrometre and quick air connection interface.
SATA’s adam X and adam X Pro digital units can also be retrofitted, although they are sold separately.
All three limited-edition ranges will be available to order in Australia and New Zealand from September 2026 through SATA distributors.
