When Leesa Fox stepped into her first parts manager role, she didn’t come with a collision repair background. What she did bring was determination and a willingness to learn.
She quickly immersed herself in parts systems, supplier platforms and manufacturer catalogues, including Tesla’s electronic systems, teaching herself what she needed to know to support a busy workshop. Today she manages ordering, supplementary claims, credits and inventory for 13 panel beaters.
What had previously required two people is now handled by Leesa alone. She streamlined processes, introduced tighter controls around non-returnable credits and strengthened supplier relationships. The result is smoother workflow and fewer issues escalating to management.
Technicians rely on her to keep production moving. Management relies on her to maintain financial discipline. She approaches every change — new software, new process, new supplier — with openness and practicality.
