Customer Service, Alayna Uduste
MotorOne Autobody Brendale, QLD
At MotorOne Autobody Brendale, the front office runs at full throttle. With around 100 repairs moving through the site each week, Alayna Uduste operates at the centre of a fast, complex operation.
Her official title is customer service officer, but her contribution stretches well beyond reception. She greets customers, manages phone and email enquiries, coordinates updates and supports the site manager with day-to-day operations. On any given day there can be 20 vehicles arriving and more than a hundred onsite — and she keeps everything moving.
Over time, Alayna’s role has expanded into estimating support, invoicing and payroll assistance. She plays a key part in managing booking structure to ensure the right mix of work flows through the shop to meet targets. She works closely with production to monitor delivery timelines while keeping customers accurately informed.
That combination of commercial awareness and customer care is where she makes her mark.
“Alayna brings a hard working, can-do attitude every single day,” says her nominator.
“She handles everything that is thrown at her. She is basically a 2IC for me at Brendale. She is a quick learner and can adapt to any situation. She is everyone’s go-to for technical questions and has made herself a real asset to the company.
“She’s fast becoming the Operations team’s first choice when it comes to supporting new procedures and improving processes. She also plays a big role in welcoming and guiding new staff, creating an environment people want to be part of.
“I have worked with Alayna for a long time now and she deserves everything that is coming her way. Her consistency and work ethic set her apart.”
