The latest addition to the Car-Craft Qld fold is Warwick Panel and Paint in the sleepy country town of Warwick on the Darling Downs.

Warwick Panel and Paint was started back in 1977 and bought in 2004 by a young couple of locals, Brett and Rachel Benz who have continued to operate and grow  the business

After completing his apprenticeship and working in another shop in town Brett decided it was time to have a go. Warwick Panel and Paint now in its 12th year of operation under the guidance of Brett and Rachel and is a selected repairer for RACQ and AI insurance, they continue to deliver high quality work and are “the” shop for the townsfolk of Warwick says Car Craft Queensland's Ben Chesterfield.

"Brett is assisted in the business by his very capable wife Rachel, who not only looks after the business side of things, but also juggles family life and the raising of their two children." says Chesterfield

"Brett and Rachel sponsor a local junior football club and support the local school with fetes and fundraisers. In his spare time Brett enjoys indulging his passion of drag racing, and is well known in this arena. He runs a highly modified VL Commodore that certainly isn’t what the General designed it to be."

Chesterfield says that Brett and Rachel spent quite some time deliberating on joining Australia’s largest network of independent repairers and certainly did their due diligence.

When asked the reason he joined, Brett said he was looking for opportunities that could be afforded by being part of a large network, yet still allowed him his independence.
