A new collision group has launched in Western Australia as the Collision Repair Network (CRN).
CRN has been formed by a range of repairers based in WA including Peter Wilkinson and Co, Bowra Panel and Paint, Ian Guppy & Co and Ginos Panel and Paint.
The aim of the network will be to recognise rapid changes impacting the industry and creating an environment for modern bodyshops to thrive.
The CRN came to creation by process improvement specialist Gary Steele who has poached lean guru Darren Pine as the network's operating manager.
Pine will come all the way from Europe to take on the role.
Steele believes the network will rouse positive changes through WA's smash repair industry and is now marketing the CRN to insurance companies.
"The vision offers a seamless, stress free solution to the customers requirement.
"This is achieved through implementation of standardized systems and procedures, influenced by global best practice, that leverage the knowledge inside each business and across the network as a whole.
