Lombardi Bros was established in 1972 by two brothers Giovanni and Alfredo Lombardi, whom still to this day work in the panel and paint industry.
The Lombardi brothers started their passion for motor vehicles by starting at GMH Holden, where they were quickly made into production managers.
Giovanni Lombardi’s role at that time was to oversee any panel or structural defects on the motor vehicles. Alfredo Lombardi’s role was to oversee paint work.
When GMH Holden closed, the Lombardi Bros in 1972 then decided to purchase a panel and paint shop of their own, where they were able to put their management skills and eye for high quality repairs to good use.
It is here their panel and paint empire began.
Their passion for prestige and European motor vehicles to this day is still as strong as when they started. They are very much wanting to move forward with their children in the business who will be taking it into the future.
They currently own five autobody repair shops in WA, one of the largest family owned and run in Australia, with both founding members working six days a week.
Despite their tremendous success, John and Fred are known for their huge hearts as they consistently give back to their community. They are always donating to charity, sponsoring community soccer teams, car rallies, and motor sport racing. Most importantly, they are very generous to their staff, the people who are so important in making their dream work and move forward.
Giovanni and Alfredo Lombardi are wise men. They have always had a philosophy that the most important part of their businesses was investing in manufacturer training for technicians and the purchasing of tooling and equipment.
Staying ahead of the latest developments and technologies is what really keeps them at the top of the automotive industry. It is the reason elite manufacturers have teamed up with Lombardi Bros to make them authorised autobody repairers for brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Aston Martin & Lamborghini, and the accredited repairer for the Barbagallo Group. The Lombardi Brothers are proud to be working alongside these luxury car brands, and the knowledge gained from being a part of their team takes their technicians to a new level of excellence. John & Fred will be celebrating 50 years this September and what an amazing 50 years it has been with both brothers celebrating their careers together.
