Subaru's accident repair network has rebranded with the aim to strengthen and improve customer experience as well as partner ties.

The new Subaru Certified Collision Repairer (CCR), formerly called the Preferred Collision Repairer Network, has 66 outlets nationwide with the exception of the Northern Territory. CCR retains most of the former network with some new shops joining as partners and some leaving the network after a rigorous audit to ensure high standards.

The new CCR network will require its repairers to use genuine Subaru parts, combined with factory repair methods.

Further requirements include fully trained technicians factory approved equipment and technology, quality control processes, regular customer repair updates and high-quality repair facilities. Training is carried out by  I-Car and through the Subaru audit process the manufacturer will know who has undertaken  the training and who hasn't.

Subaru Australia managing director, Colin Christie said the key reason for these requirements was to ensure each vehicle, once repaired, retained its value.

“With Subaru retained value among the most impressive in the industry, it is essential repairs are conducted to the highest standard, to ensure that intrinsic value, plus peace-of-mind for customers.”

The new network also offers a dedicated 24/7 national call centre, designed to offer immediate support following an accident.
