Graham Body Works has joined both of its Melbourne facilities to the Car Craft Group.
Company director Glenn Chesser (left in picture) said: “I thought long and hard about joining the group, after all, the industry in Victoria has seen many groups fail and I didn’t want to be part of another one.
“Going forward I think it is becoming increasingly difficult to be a standalone business, yet I value the ability to run my own race and do things my way. Car Craft presented me a way of being part of something while still maintaining the business identity I’ve created.
“Looking at the long game, I felt that the slow and consistent growth of Car Craft showed a sensible approach and confirmed that they will not sign up just anyone. In doing some background checks, I found that they valued supplier relations, supported the use of OEM products and are strong advocates for correct repair methods and training.
“The brand isn’t that well known in Victoria, but nationally I think they have a great reputation throughout the industry. They have committed to growing in Victoria and NSW that will ultimately give them a great network.
“You have to accept change is constant, surrounding yourself with good people is imperative and I think joining Car Craft helps immensely in those areas.”
