I-CAR Australia has announce that Alliance Auto Body (formerly known as Regent Smash Repairs) has been awarded the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.

“I believe knowledge is power and an important tool in order to perform exceptionally well. Therefore, I believe the Road to Gold training program is a beneficial achievement of training in order to convert knowledge gained into skill.  It is a great convenience for our team that I-CAR offered simple registration, training, and examination processes."  said Sal Sabbagh, owner of Alliance Auto Body located in Milperra NSW.

"The staff were eager to gain knowledge and learn new concepts in order to broaden their skill sets. They discovered it to be an efficient and easy method of training with the after-hours online virtual classroom courses offered,”he said.

“In this fast-changing world, businesses must be agile in order to stay ahead. It is critical to have well-trained employees who are up to date on the latest developments, so implementing training in the future will be a continuous process in my company and we fully intend to continue the ongoing annual Gold Class renewal training for all current and future employees.”

Alliance Auto Body is part of the Suncorp Repairer Network and completed all required training within a twelve month period. Staff used a combination of virtual classroom training and courses taken through Glasurit, an I-CAR Australia Industry Training Alliance (ITA) partner.

“It’s always incredible to see such enthusiasm and dedication to training from collision repair professionals,” says Gary Wood, I-CAR Australia Senior Technical Advisor. “To achieve Gold Class status in a year shows team’s diligence to upskill, and will no doubt provide motivation to other businesses who are also working to accomplish this level of training.”
