Car Craft Group has further expanded into country Victoria with the recent addition of Des Cooper Panel in Warrnambool. Founded in 1987 by, you guessed it, Des Copper, this well-regarded family run business continues with the next generation, with Des’ son’s Paull and Scott carrying on their father's legacy. Keeping it in the family, wives Pauline and Sharon head up the important parts (admin and finance).
While Des himself has “technically” retired, it’s common to still find him at the business tinkering on projects or assisting with things like plastic repairs.
Son Paull commenced his apprenticeship in 1984 with Ford Warrnambool. He was in his third year at the time he joined Des at the family busines finishing his apprenticeship there. Paull spent a number of years repairing cars and supervising the workshop before his natural progression to quoting and management.
After several years working in customer service, son Scott joined the business in 1995 and with the family all onboard the business has gone from strength to strength.
With a 24/7 towing business as part of the picture, this is a bustling business turning out quality work.
