Melbourne based Australian Factoring Company was spawned from Action Funding (Aust) Pty Ltd, which mainly serviced the factoring needs of panel shops in Victoria. With its acquisition of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s panel shop portfolio on 30th June 2015, Action Funding chose to re-brand itself as the Australian Factoring Company (AFC), as its reach now spread to all States and Territories.
AFC also announced on January 1, 2016 that it had acquired Active Factors, another substantial panel shop factoring business with a presence throughout Australia.
There is an increasing demand by panel shops for the AFC style of business - service, reliability, and integrity. Each and every AFC panel shop client is supported to grow its business without the common constraint of cash flow hassles.
AFC has made significant investments in its business, in its people, its IT systems and in its product offering, all of which have resulted in a very competitive pricing model for the company.
Reaching critical mass was the objective as outlined by Walter Rapoport and Rael Ross, two directors of the company. As the largest of its kind in Australia, AFC’s processes and procedures have been adopted and implemented from the best practices recognised in the industry. Its personnel are highly qualified, well trained and always strive to provide outstanding service. Rob Campbell, General Manager of AFC, acknowledged that the company- despite being in a tough, challenging, and changing environment for the smash repair industry - is fully embracing its new focus on factoring and innovative solutions whilst building long term relationships with its clients.
With the company continuing to expand its business, it is currently developing an even more comprehensive range of services to panel shops throughout Australia.
