AMA Group has announced it has recently acquired its ninth major Heavy Motor Repair facility, Newcastle’s National Truck Repairs and National Central.
Darren Wales, AMA’s CEO Heavy Motor Division said he is delighted with the newly acquired business, stating it is a perfect strategic fit for the ever expanding Heavy Motor Division. “National Truck Repairs is such a well-run and respected industry leader in the heavy vehicle repair sector, we are delighted to have them on board to complement our burgeoning team,” Wales. said “Having a facility of this calibre in the Newcastle region complements our national repair network, which is the only heavy vehicle repair organisation to have such a national presence.”
Rodney Landers of National Truck Repairs said: “We looked long and hard before joining Darren and the AMA Heavy Motor team. AMA Heavy Motor Division now consists of 250 staff across nine sites Australia wide: Parins Truck Repairs (Perth). All Transport Smash (SA), Western Truck Repairs (Vic), Recar Truck Repairs (Brisbane, Townsville, Clayton), Wales Truck Repairs (NSW), Wales Bus Repairs (NSW) and National Truck Repairs (Newcastle).
