AMA Group launched its state-of-the-art flagship site on the Gold Coast last week, bringing together three repair centres under the new AMA Collision brand. Paint & Panel was there to take the tour along with a number of insurers and industry suppliers.

The site was previously ACM's parts warehouse and spans an impressive 5,000 square meters. AMA group outlined how it is set to redefine the customer experience, with a new approach that places the customer at the heart of every repair - "Repairs Driven by You."

Executive General Manager AMA Collision, Jim Lynch said, “At AMA Collision, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of our customer’s vehicle repair experience, and our new flagship site on the Gold Coast is a testament to that commitment. With enhanced features and amenities, our customers can expect a level of service and convenience like never before."

Highlights of the new AMA Collision flagship site include:

  • Drive-through valet service: A convenient drive-thru valet service ensures a smooth and efficient undercover drop-off and pickup experience.
  • Consultative service approach: The team takes the time to understand each customer’s unique needs and preferences. The company says it believes in transparent and open communication, ensuring that every aspect of the customer’s repair is tailored to their satisfaction.
  • Design studio: The design studio allows customers to customise additional repair work to meet their personal preferences and style, to restore or enhance their vehicle. 
  • Drive and non-drive capabilities: AMA Collision provides comprehensive repair solutions for all types of vehicle damage.
  • High repair capacity: With the ability to repair up to 125 vehicles per week, it is  ready to meet the demands of customers efficiently.
  • Electric vehicle (EV) Charging Stations: The site features two EV charging units.
  • Washbay and recycling system: AMA's eco-friendly approach includes a washbay and water recycling system, minimising the environmental impact.”
