Collision Repair Expo Preview

Visitors to the huge Sydney Automotive Paints & Equipment (SAPE) stands will enjoy a feast of displays of the latest technological advancements from SAPE and its partners.

Autorobot
SAPE will introduce new products from Autorobot. The Generation 3 Autorobot Speed Bench features a larger bench size and increased lifting height. The Autorobot micro is a professional straightening bench designed for easy set-up and quick pulls. The micro’s modest cost makes it a great investment for any sized bodyshop. The micro bench is perfect for bodyshops needing additional benches or which have limited floor space. The new ExCalipre Electronic Measuring System is an advanced 2/3D measuring system for exact verification of vehicle chassis and body condition and for damage documentation. This latest development by Autorobot Finland, will be on demonstration at the SAPE stand.

Multistrain system
New from Carsystem, the revolutionary total system to ensure a 100 per cent contamination-free paint straining process. Carsystem’s MultiStrain paint strainer system delivers ultimate contamination control to help ensure a perfect finish. Why risk the use of cheap hand-made strainers that may contain many contaminates such as particles from the manufacturing process, loose filter element fibres or poor quality bonding adhesive?

The Speedmixer, the latest development from Carsystem, will also be on display at the expo. The Speedmixer delivers a ready to use filler mix without entrapped air for totally pinhole-free filling. Simply dispense and fill, no mixing required. Call by the stand and the team will be glad to show you the Speedmixer in action.

Cam Products
Automotive Colour & Equipment (ACE) will have on display its full range of Cam Products, including spraybooth protective coating, bodyfillers, underbody coatings and protectors, gunwash solutions, paint strippers, plastic coating and rust converters. ACE will introduce several new products, including the Neutralizer ionising blow gun. The Neutralizer incorporates the efficiency and power of an air amplifier with the proven technology of corona ionisation to produce a highly effective static eliminating blow-off gun. In addition, it offers a lightweight, well balanced gun powered by an internal, rechargeable, lithium ion battery.

Also on display:
• IRT: The completely redesigned Hyperion range does not resemble previous IRT products. Every part of the new Hyperion dryer is based on a well thought-out and tested design based on user friendliness and high volume capacity.

• Drester: with hundreds of thousands of units sold Worldwide, Drester is the world’s largest spray gun cleaner manufacturer and the market leader. Drester’s latest cleaners for water or solvent-based material will be demonstrated.

• Celette: pioneer of the Universal Bench concept with 40 years’ experience, Celette will be introducing the EGUAN Electronic Measuring System to visitors at the expo.

• Easy Lift 3000: the Easy Lift 3000 is a mobile air hydraulic powered column type vehicle lift. The unique design of the mobile column wheel lift has been an unqualified success in the industry, offering a high level of convenience and speed. It is perfect for dismantling, sanding, and paint repairs and buffing. It simply saves a lot of time.

• Innovative: Innovative paint racks, bumper stands and parts storage systems are always a popular display for visitors to the SAPE stands. The new Innovative material carts are a mobile supply room and inventory system with models available for painters, panel beaters and detailers.

• Kamatec: Kamatec of Switzerland was awarded second place at the Innovation Award at Automechanika Germany 2010 for the Fastdrill. This welding point drilling machine has been designed to drill out spot-weld on high and ultra high strength steels very quickly without getting tired. 

• Wielander and Schill: Wielander and Schill, the German manufacturer of the Inverta Spot GT Spot Welder, will be displaying its range of products during the expo. The latest development in adhesive and riveting repair technologies will be demonstrated.

• Juice: Juice polishes will be demonstrating its new Flat Matt 11 scuffing paste on the ACE stand. Triple action Flat Matt 11 scuffing paste abrades, degreases and cleans in one easy step, enhancing coating adhesion by creating a smooth even surface, for use on all refinish paint surfaces including water-based, HS, MS and OEM finishes.
