Jeff Nugent, General Manager of Maxbutts Bodyworks in Ashmore, Queensland has the highest respect for the two spray booths he’s had installed for eight years.
This is in a shop where four painters turn out over 70 cars per week.
“We’ve had no problems with the booths and the service from Masterbooth has been good. I’ve been around this business since Adam was a boy and these are the most trouble-free booths I’ve encountered,” Nugent says.
“Our booths run from 6am until at least 6 or 7pm – the other night I had a call from the security company at 11.30pm one of our painters was finishing off a job for Friday send off. Reliable booths that aren’t dear to buy.”
David Chwyla of high-volume repair facility Direct One in Victoria has had five Masterbooth prep bays and two drive through downdraft booths up and running for 12 months and can’t speak highly enough of the service and quality of the product.
“Their speed, efficiency and quality is outstanding. They started the install on 1 September and I was painting cars by 1 October,” says Chwyla. “With Masterbooth you are getting a gold-plated product for a budget price.”
The Masterbooth range of product spans from tiny sprayout boxes to major installations, from hobby use to industrial fitouts in autobody repair facilities, furniture manufacturers, Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Defence Industry, and Aerospace Industry, and Accessory Manufacturers.
Director Steven Kaye is an industry innovator: “The company prides itself on constant investment in the best equipment to build its prep stations and booths,” Kaye says.
Recent innovations include magnetic mounted air jets to facilitate drying waterborne paints which can be built in or portable.
The company is proud of its built in Australian Standard complaint infra-red units. Each one is housed in its own little garage.
The company claims its new airjets are 40-45 per cent more efficient than anything else in the market place.
“Our model is to cater for everyone,” Kaye says, “To the smallest repairer with our unique semi-downdraft design to the largest installs complete with side loading, maximising space and efficiency.”
The company recently completed an install for the Army of the People’s Republic of China who chose an Australian-made booth over one from their own country.
