The experienced team at Lowbake continues to innovate with its latest model, the Lowbake Alpha.

Lowbake’s managing director Mark Williams believes the Australian automotive repair industry has been experiencing a realignment that requires innovation and smart thinking with wise investments for the future.

“Over the last few years Lowbake has been preparing for the changes that we are experiencing to provide equipment and procedures for low-energy, high-quality and high-speed paint and panel repairs,” Williams says.

The new Lowbake Alpha spray booth has proved very popular since its recent launch and is, Williams says, Australia’s most efficient spray booth.

“The Lowbake Alpha has been designed to be amazingly energy efficient so users will see a significant reduction in paint shop energy costs.”

The Lowbake Alpha uses electronic inverters (VSD ) on all fans and has high-efficiency electric motors, low-energy lighting and the reliable low-energy direct-fired gas heating system which recirculates air on bake cycle to further lower costs.

The use of these technologies is not new to Lowbake, which has pioneered them in Australia over the last 25 years.

“As the Australian refinish market heads into uncertain times, many opportunities are becoming obvious for smart operators,” Williams says. “These business owners demand cutting-edge equipment that gives them a clear operation advantage. The Lowbake Alpha gives the paint shop it is installed in a raft of advantages.”

The Lowbake Alpha is a complete package, with its proven RADS water-based curing system that integrates fully into the industrial quality touch screen to make the booth future-proof.

The RADS system has been chosen by PPG, BAS F and Sikkens for their respective training centres, with results unmatched by any other product that cures water-based paint, the company says.

Solar power and infra-red
The Lowbake Alpha is the first booth that virtually runs on the power from the sun, with a new optional solar power system available to reduce energy costs further and improve the bottom line.

The Lowbake Alpha has the same reliability and rock solid design that comes with all Lowbake products, the company says.

Further advances in the Lowbake manufacturing process with the extensive use of computer controlled manufacturing machines has pushed quality to another level while reducing costs.

Over the past five years, Lowbake has also pioneered the use of catalytic infra-red gas paint curing robots in Australia and these have become a must-have piece of equipment to cure paint to OEM specifications with unbelievable speed and quality using very little energy.

“Not only does Lowbake design and build the best paint shops in Australia, but we also provide training on the use of the equipment, both in house in our state-of-the-art training facility in Melbourne and on-site depending on customers requirements,” Williams says.

Lowbake training can run hand in hand with paint suppliers or independently as another option if the client needs fast and professional help.

“No other spray booth company in Australia has such a well-equipped facility or can provide you the assistance that you need in today’s changing environment so there is no option but to use Lowbake should you wish to remain competitive and survive in this ever-changing market,” he says.

Manufactured in the company’s high-tech factory in Victoria, the advantages of buying Australian also means that Lowbake products are fully supported with full spare parts and technical back-up in all states and territories.

Lowbake has also developed a full range of painters’ carts and trolleys to improve efficiency and keep staff productive.

“Lowbake is here to help and partner you with Australia’s most experienced design and layout team that provides complete design and costing services with local manufacture and full integration and training Australia-wide,” Williams says.
