Repairers in the prestige market can now rely on the Car-O-Liner to provide equipment for repairing all European cars.
For Car-O-Liner Australia managing director, Julie Thomas, this will only mean stronger potential for the Swedish brand in Australia. Thomas’ Australian operation has secured the best world-wide sales for Car-O-Liner, the result of “a good product and a good team,” she said.
Late last year the Volkswagen group gave apporval for Car-O-Liner equipment, meaning brands including Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen could be repaired using the equipment with manufacturers approval.
In a statement, Car-O-Liner said: “As the amount of big structural damages is going down worldwide and the big demands for a solution where the bodyshop can handle both cosmetic as structural repairs in one repair bench, Volkswagen chose the Quick 42 out of its efficiency and well known accuracy measuring system Car-O-Tronic.”
Car-O-Liner has configured three systems, in special livery, for the Volkswagen stable of vehicles:
System Basic (VAS 6526): Quick 42 with Car-O-Tronic Classic
System Profi (VAS 6527): Quick 42 with Car-O-Tronic Vision X3 and specially designed Evo-Systems on Workshop Solution trolleys
System Profi Plus (VAS 6528): Quick 42 with Car-O-Tronic Vision X3 and specially designed Evo-Systems on Workshop Solution Wall sections
All systems are branded in special VAG colours and in this version, the equipment is only available for Volkswagen Group repairers.
There will also be a special Volkswagen branded version of the Car-O-Tronic software.
