iMatchColor, the smart phone app for the Sikkens Mixit Online colour retrieval system has sailed past the 10,000 download mark in its first year.
AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings (A&AC) predict more rapid growth now that it has launched iMatchColor versions for more mobile operating systems and has introduced French, Dutch, Swedish and Korean language versions of Mixit Online. Major improvements have also been made in the Japanese language version of the app.
iMatchColor was originally launched last summer as an app for the iPhone. At the same time, A&AC introduced a smart phone-friendly interface for Mixit Online to allow access from Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7, and Android operating systems.
iMatchColor is now available as an app for all Android mobile phones and will shortly be available to all Blackberry models.
