Car O Liner Australia, as exclusive distributor, for Elektron,Bremen, Germany, has just released the Elektron Multimig 300 MIG welder.
This highly versatile welder, is marked by its ease of use with an operator only having to make four entries on the front panel, "material, welding wire diameter, gas and workpiece thickness." These are the only entries and in operation, Multimig 300 does the rest automatically.
Multimig 300 allows the user to perform traditional MIG/MAG welding on standard and stainless steel. It will also perform MIG brazing, aluminium welding and high strength steels found in late model vehicles.
Once the change to the required wire is made, users can easily form MIG brazing with ease also in welding temperature and welding speed.
Precisely steppped power stages enables users to perform consistent quality welds with great control and weld quality is also assured by the units active-induction system, allowing ignition without spatter.
The Multimig 300 provides an extremely stable arc even on the lowest settings, which are required for MIG brazing and the Digastep Electronics features 41 precisely stepped, electronically selectable power stages. The 300 also has a Tiptronic feature which allows the equipment to retrieve one of 100 programmable presets of vehicle manufacturers' paramaters.
Multimig 300 easily welds steel thicknesses of 0.8-10mm and 2-6mm for aluminium. The kit includes a Powermaster Welding torch and a 4m length of lead, ground cable, gas regulator, wire spool adaptor and fitted gas hose.
welds on steel thickness of 0.8 to 10mm and 2.6mm for aluminium are easily performed and the unit comes complete with PowerMaster welding torch, with 4m of lead, ground cable, gas regulator, wire spool adaptor and fitted gas hose.
