Heads up for the GTi Pro Digital

Since its launch, professional automotive refinishers in bodyshops across the globe have taken the DeVilbiss GTi Pro to heart.

Many thought that the performance of the original GTi would be hard to beat, but it soon became evident to the industry’s top sprayers and the world’s leading paint companies, that the GTi Pro was a quantum leap in fluid atomisation dynamics, taking DeVilbiss to the forefront in advanced spray gun technology.

The fit and feel of the forged gun body, together with the smooth, fully balanced trigger and air valve provides perfect precision and control. The three compliant air caps have genuinely revolutionised the application of wet-on-wet primers, basecoats and clears with unparalleled levels of stability to ensure perfect flake lay, colour match and gloss.

Now, the GTi Pro has taken another leap forward, with the introduction of the GTi Pro DIGITAL, which combines all the advantages of the DeVilbiss GTi Pro gravity gun with the custom designed, Dgi Pro pod pressure gauge, mounted exactly where you can see it.

The gauge is not hidden by your hand, so there’s no need to open your fingers with a gun full of paint and cant the gun over at an angle in order to read the gauge. And, regardless of whether you are right or left handed, the clear, precise digital readout ensures accurate air pressure settings for perfect performance.

The gauge is designed to provide constant, visual monitoring of the gun’s working pressure and any fluctuations or unexpected surprises will be displayed immediately, so the painter can take the necessary action.

It doesn’t matter if you are using your GTi Pro with conventional, or disposable gravity cups, the Dgi Pro pod gauge nestles neatly underneath it, while remaining clearly visible to the operator.

Locating the gauge on the gun itself means that readings are 100 per cent true and unaffected by any restrictive fittings, plus there is the added advantage of reducing the “inlet Christmas tree” of gauges and fittings at the base of the gun, making painting sills close to the booth floor much easier with the GTi Pro DIGITAL.

The gun’s controls retain their normal functions so you use the spreader valve adjacent to the GTi Pro pod gauge to set your preferred fan width and the air flow (cheater) valve at the base of the handle to set the exact pressure you need for optimum atomization (normally 2 bar).

It is ATEX approved for use in hazardous atmospheres (essential for use in a spray booth, of course) and they are completely solvent resistant, so the GTi Pro DIGITAL guns and gauges can be cleaned with confidence in a gun wash machine.
