Compass Claims held its first charity golf day at Castle Hill Country Club NSW on 1 October raising around $50,000.
Despite high winds the day was well supported with many from the industry participating.
The event, sponsored by Paint & Panel, Toyota and Hyundai kicked off with a sausage sizzle before a demonstration from golf pro Paul Gow, who also gave master classes through the day. After blustery play, participants enjoyed dinner and an auction for the Day of Difference foundation.
Compass Claims managing director James Frape said that he couldn't thank those attending enough for their generosity: “ I know the foundation is delighted with what we managed to achieve, but without your support, donations and help it would not have been possible.
"I hope it whetted your appetite for the years to come and I have already received so many positive comments for next year so watch this space in the new year for more information, he said."
Frape also said he was delighted to have been able to put on a day for the motor industry where dealers, repairers, suppliers and friends came together and raised this amount of money.
