WIA (Welding Industries Australia) has announced the release of the Miller Titanium Series range of welding helmets.

The new range includes the 9400, with a standard shell and external grind button, and the 9400i. The 9400i has a lift front design and an integrated, high impact grind shield that provides 180-degree field of view. Users can switch between welding and grinding without removing the helmet on the 9400i and at the push of a button on the 9400.

Both models feature an aluminium heat shield, as well as the InfoTrack arc timer and includes a digital clock display with an alarm or timer function. They also include multiple adjustability settings in addition to a new lightweight headgear that is both comfortable and durable. Magnifying lenses are available in 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 magnification.

Digital controls in the new range allow welders to adjust modes, shade levels, delay and sensitivity, and Miller's X-Mode function allows for outdoor or out-of-position welding. Additional Auto-On/Auto-Off functions, low amperage TIG performance and lithium battery power with solar assist contributes to longer life.

The Titanium Series range comes with 3-year warranty, five outside and two inside cover lenses and a helmet bag.
