Car-O-Liner has released handEye, a free downloadable application for iPods or iPhones that makes electronic measuring that much easier.
Normally, computerised measuring using Car-O-Liner's Vision requires the user to refer to the PC for instructions. While this makes the operator's job easy, the movement to and from the PC still takes time.
The new handEye app provides the user the perfect mobile solution around the workspace using a portable handheld .
All the necessary information normally found on the computer is accessible right in the user’s hand. And, to make it even easier, where the operator needs to use both hands, a magnetic case is also available.
The case can attach to the vehicle or other metal equipment, leaving the operator the ability to use both hands.
Communication with the host PC is through a wireless local area network (WLAN). The handEye promises to allow the user to save time during measuring while also providing greater flexibility during measuring work.
Very user-firendly, the app is easy to learn, with the user up and running in a matter of minutes.
Handeye is available to download from the iTunes Apps store.
