PaintMax: Producing quality Australian-made welders
With a range of Australian-made Easybeat welders, complimented by an array of quality imported welders from PaintMax, Frank Fazal's National Welding Supplies has the market covered.
With a new Australian designed welder being developed and a range of affordable, quality imported welders on offer, Easybeat?s Frank Fazal has been kept quite busy.
The Easybeat 14000 Amps model is an Australian made and built inverter sport welder developed by Mr. Fazal and his team at the company's Wetherill Park facility.
"This unit is built to last," Mr Fazal told Australasian Paint & Panel. If past models are any indication, then these new units will last the test of time.
During Paint & Panel's visit to Easybeat, Mr Fazal had a 30 year old Easybeat welder on the bench which had come in for repair. He said it would be repaired for $850 and then be back in the workshop.
Mr Fazal spoke proudly of the newly developed welder. "It will feature a unique transformer with a fully water cooled system,"
"It is designed for long life, and use.
"We want to send that message to insurance companies."
He said machine parts were readily available and that a feature of the unit was the ease of changing parts and guns.
He said panel shop technicians would be able to fix the welders.
Easybeat also offers exchange systems to ensure customers can continue the work flow through their workshops.
Easybeat has been operating for more than 30 years, and under the ownership of Mr Fazal, who bought the business from his boss 18 years ago.
He has now designed and produced six welders for the collision repair industry as well as importing other machines to compliment the company's Australian-made range.
Of the imported range of machines, Easybeat has just released two new PaintMax inverter spot-welders, one featuring two guns and the other with three guns.
The three gun model features a double cross gun, 'C' gun and a single gun, and the machines come with a range of accessories.
These 12000 amp inverter spot-welders feature a 20 litre stainless steel water tank and are fan cooled.
"They are able to be used on all types of cars," Mr Fazal said.
"They are a very versatile unit and are being bought by all types of body repair shops."
Mr Fazal said these units have an improved water cooling system, improved reliability through a more robust electronics system.
The units are a 415 volt machine delivering a maximum 120kva output.
Easybeats' shopfront business PaintMax, managed by Carlo Tartaglia, offers the panel beating industry, as well as other fabricating and welding businesses, a wide range of welders and consumables. They include electric and gas welding equipment and accessories, dent pullers, lifting bench, recycling machine, hand tools, gun wash machines, high pressure cleaners, safety products and cutting machines, to name a few.
According to Mr Fazal, it is a one-stop-shop for the trade.
