New compact, powerful Rupes S130

A new range of dust extractors from Rupes, the S130, will be available soon from GnG Sales.

The S130 is the little brother to the very popular S145. Using the same Rupes technology as the S145, the S130 is a great single operator system. Its compact size, 43cm wide x 51cm high x 42.5cm deep, takes up little space but still provides a useful 30L dust container.

The 1200W motor produces a 1450L/min air flow rate – ample suction for any job. The inbuilt Multifunctional Intelligent Control (MIC) provides three primary benefits to the user. It enables the dust extractor to automatically start when a tool is in use or permits the operator to start it manually. The suction control dial allows the user to select the level of suction required and finally, the fitted LED notification lights advise when the motor brushes need to be changed.

The two panel filter provides 1m2 of filter surface, ensuring excellent filtration. When fitted with the optional polyester filter, the S130 can be used for liquid extraction.

There will be a number of models available under the 130 range, starting with S130L, which has an automatic electrical tool connection; up to the load S130EPL, which has both air and electric automatic tool connections as well as the patented Rupes self cleaning system which automatically clean filters.

This small, robust and very quiet dust extractor is a great addition to the extensive range of Rupes mobile and turbine dust extraction systems. Available in Australia in the first quarter of 2012, the S130s will have a starting RRP of under $800 inclusive of GST.
