Wanda, has appointed Le’Mix as its major market distributor in NSW and the ACT.

Wanda, the compact refinishing system from AkzoNobel, was officially launched in Sydney earlier this year. The company says that it chose Le’Mix as it is an innovative industry distributor that offers cost-effective alternatives to commonly used industry brands.

“The collision repair industry is undergoing constant change and one effect is increased pressure to reduce costs,” said Allan Kamaledine, Managing Director of Le’Mix. “This pressure has driven demand for more economical methods of repairing and refinishing but with the added challenge of preserving quality and profits.”

According to Kamaledine, this is where Le’Mix holds a vital advantage.  “The Le’Mix business has been specifically formed to meet this need. My team of trade professionals travels the world to source the best high-quality, user-friendly products that are cost-effective alternatives to many conventional brands. This is the basis of our success and every item we distribute must meet these criteria. This is how we deliver value and it’s why Wanda is right at home with Le’Mix,”   he said.

Since starting out in 2010, Le’Mix has continuously expanded as new products join its catalogue. The company, which distributes a variety of industry products such as high-quality abrasives, masking products and spray guns, makes quality its priority and uses its buying power to pass on savings.

“Cost effectiveness is paramount for bodyshops and both Wanda and Le’Mix share the right formula to achieve this,” Kamaledine said.

Akzonobel describes Wanda as a complete compact refinishing system that delivers excellent quality, using fewer products that are both user-friendly and durable. It’s the latest brand to enter the Australian refinish market. Globally, Wanda has forged three hallmarks: color, simplicity and value.

Its comprehensive color matching system, known as Wanda Refinish system, has a wide range of up-to-date prime and variant colors. It also has a simple-to-use color retrieval program and color documentation tools.
Wanda simplifies mixing ratios of clear, primer and 2K colors and uses a universal hardener. The entire system consists of less than 85 items, comprising basecoat, single stage toners and ancillaries. AAnd because Wanda requires fewer components, it’s easier to apply and reduces stock levels, delivering users excellent  value.
