Sydney Automotive Paint and Equipment (SAPE) is enjoying excellent sales with the Wielander + Schill InvertaPuls IP6-2 Pulse-Arc Welder, a computer-controlled mig welder for brazing and aluminium welding.

The W+S IP6-2 mig brazing welder is a compact pulse mig-mag inverter welder especially designed for car repairs, according to SAPE’s Robert Grey.

It has excellent brazing characteristics as well as aluminium welding, with fine controls to give quality results.

The welder can also be provided with accessories for tig welding if required.

The W+S IP6-2 has touch button computer controls for wire speed, amperage, standard or pulse welding, material selection and thickness, to name a few.

It is also fitted with two three-metre twin torches and two separate wire feeds so that the operator can choose brazing or aluminium welding without the need to change wire spools. It is also capable of welding stainless steel.

There is a facility for storing, editing and saving the particular job be repaired. Car manufacturer programs can also be stored on the welder.

The IP6-2 is future-proof, with integrated interface for software upgrades. The welder is supplied with large wheels for mobility on any surface, has easy access for wire changing on both sides of the unit and 2 x 4-roller drives for wire feeding.
