A NEW ENVIRO range of compressors, that fit the need for friendly, cost efficient air compressors, have been released by Champion Compressors. The new range complements Champion's wide range of rotary screw compressors.
With the compact tank-mounted Enviro series Champion has designed compreesors that deliver reliable performance whilst incorporating a number of built-in EH&S features.
Mark Ferguson,executive manager, Champion Compressors, sales, service and marketing says the range is factory fitted with Sullube biodegradable fluid which exhibits a life of up to eight times that of conventional mineral compressed oils.
"This means less frequent servicing downtime and less waste fluid to dispose of. The biodegradable formula allows for easier and cheaper disposal.”
Champion says that the Envirto further benefits from full internal safety guarding, a built-in fluid spill tray, and a minimum energy performance standard 2 (MEPS2) compliant motor which increases energy efficiency.
The Enviro range comprises two models-the CS11E and the CS15E. The CS11E model has an 11kW output, with working pressures from 8-10 bar, delivered at rates up to 38L/s.
Ferguson says the Enviro is ideally suited to workshop applications and “importantly, it doesn’t require a complicated infrastructure of pipe-work or a seperate plant room. Instead, it’s compact design and ultra quiet performance means it can be installed exactly where the compressed air is needed.”
