MULTI TASKING IS the key to Festool’s Rotex RO 150. The company claims that the RO 150 is efficient, economical and ergonomic and that the sander combines power, material removal and has an extended life in one overall concept. The tool, Festool says, is ideal as a single solution for coarse sanding and for finer surfaces.

The Protector, the sanders’ detachable extraction channel, makes for easier polishing and has an ideal switch position, MMC electronics and an effective sanding pad brake. Unlike the old version of the RO150, the pad runs in the opposite direction allowing smoother operation when being used with the Rotex geared motion for stock (aggressive material) removal.
The established, patented Jetstream principle – a central hole and two air ducts – in the sanding pad prevent a vacuum from forming during dust extraction offering less dust, lower sand paper temperatures
and less clogging. With the Jetstream principle, fine grain abrasives last up to 30 per cent longer.
