Palmerston Paints servicing the north

Continuing growth has seen Darwin-based Palmerston Paint Supplies expand into new premises, enhancing its service to the refinishing industry.

Trefor Cunnah and Judy Zelek have spent the last 10 years building up the business to supply quality paint in the retail, trade house paint as well as the automotive and industrial markets.

They established the business in Palmerston on 5 March 2001 at the old Eleven Mile, now known as Pinelands, and late last year moved to a new 2000 square metre showroom.

Some 50 suppliers and more than 250 guests attended the opening of the new showroom, performed by David Haymes of Haymes Paint Australia.

He was supported by PPG’s Queensland/NSW manager Rob Cooke and national industrial manager Graham Gunstan, along with Sydney Automotive Paints and Equipment’s Andy Miller, Rick Trembath from Shinano and James Cormack from Anest Iwata.
