An exciting product launched at this year's Collision Repair Expo that won't break the bank is Dollyview.
The App (which you can download free) allows repairers to easily film and upload the progress on a vehicle and share the video with the client. It could be a simple before-and-after video, showing the work that has been done, or even a video of the work while it is in progress.
Unlike YouTube or other video-hosting sites, videos uploaded to Dollyview are kept in the Cloud and you can either directly download them onto your device or stream them online. Translated that means that viewer can access the video in a fraction of the time it takes to watch one on Youtube - even if the internet connection is not strong. It is ideal for the many customers now using their phones to access the internet.
Here's Dollyview director Kim Jacobs explaining at last week's Collision Repair Expo. We've uploaded the video in both 'Dollyview' at the bottom of the story and Youtube so that you can see the difference in the speed of viewing times.
