At Sheen Panel Service has a keen focus on community which led them to take out the Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards' Community and Social Responsibility trophy last year. The group actively supports charities and initiatives across Victoria, with many stores taking particular interest in backing local businesses. Sheen's Drysdale and Ocean Grove stores are no exception.
The team down in the Bellarine district have been busy in the last few months working on their partnerships with different local businesses and charities, including the Portarlington Golf Club and charity collaboration with Black Dog Institute for "Bowl For Your Lives."
Sheen Drysdale and Ocean Grove is proud to be the newest partners of the Portarlington Golf Club and sponsors of this year's Pro-AM to be held on the 20th of February. Avid golfer and Manager of Sheen Ocean Grove, Josh Hewlett said: "We want to be part of the Bellarine community and keep things local for as many of us as possible."
While Hewlett has been busy with the golfers, Tommie Baird, the Manager at Sheen's Drysdale location has been helping the bowlers. "Bowl For Your Lives" is a local initiative to raise money for mental health awareness. This year the Sheen Panel Service Cup, will be held on the 26th of January with all proceeds from the day going towards Black Dog Institute.
