Andrea McCarthy is has a high profile in the industry. She is the owner and office manager of the highly successful McCarthy Panel Works in Queensland and recently became Chair of the Motor Traders Association of Queensland; the first woman to hold that position for 40 years. She is also involved with I-CAR. During her career she has been a passionate voice for change, making it her mission to change public perception of the panel repair industry. We speak to her about some of her ups and downs, and what she’s learnt from her many years in the business and about some of the challenges being a regional repairer can bring.
