Texas law enforcement officials found themselves in an awkward situation this month when a 33-year-old woman escaped custody, taking off in a police vehicle.

Toscha Sponsler was arrested by police following reports of a suspected shoplifter in the area.

Sponsler was handcuffed behind her back and buckled up in the back of a police car when she slipped out of one of the handcuffs.

From there she was able to squeeze her way through the front seat partition and take off.

What happened next, you must see. As an important side note, she was also found to have been in possession of a sizeable amount methamphetamine.
