Spin doctor for cleaning pads

Dirty and loaded polishing pads could be a thing of the past if you use the SD-1 “Spin Doctor” tool just released by Australian Warehouse Distributors (AWD).

The company says that, up until now, methods of cleaning dirty pads have often ranged from messy to dangerous.

AWD claims that if you simply pass the “Spin Doctor” across the spinning pad, the flexible rotating paddle blasts away wet loaded or dried and caked-on compound leaving the pad clean, dry and ready for reuse.

The tool cleans the pad while it is on the polisher, meaning the operator can go on working on the vehicle. This saves considerable time in manual cleaning and drying.

You just wait for the finish of the job and while the pad is rotating pass the “Spin Doctor”across the pad’s surface.

The tool works on all brands of flat, waffle and round foam polishing and cutting pads and, unlike other methods, the tool will not damage pad surfaces.
