We will have a record-breaking Women in Collision event this year – tickets are selling fast and it will be out biggest and best yet.
If you haven't bagged your ticket yet, you'd better get your skates on. As well as a fabulous location – Doltone House in Sydney's Hyde Park – great food and wine, we also have an inspiring line up of speakers to kick the event off before we reveal who this year's winners are.
Our keynote speaker, Brenda Denbesten, knows all about working in male-dominated industries. An engineer, she has excelled in mining and manufacturing and in board rooms.
Jing Tadeo, Toyota's general manager, business planning and strategy will be sharing her journey. Jing is an industrial engineer who started her career with Toyota Australia 34 years ago. She has risen through the ranks via many career moves. Her most recent role is general manager of Aftersales Divison. Jing is passionate about furthering women’s careers particularly those in non-traditional areas like body and paint.
Kellie Dewar, deputy chief executive at MTA Queensland, is a founding force behind Auto Women. Kellie will outline the vision for the organisation, what it means for the industry and how you can get involved.
IAG is the long-standing Platinum sponsor of Women in Collision and proudly support these awards. We'll hear from IAG’s Keira Dyer, manager of motor assessing operations, and you can expect a surprise for some lucky attendees.
After we have revealed the winners and wrapped up the formalities everyone is welcome to kick on courtesy of Carbiz for more drinks, food and networking.
