In 2014, ‘Collision Talk’ was the best attended event of the lecture programme. As before, it will be held in the Portalhaus building, which adjoins Hall 11 where everything revolves around the world of bodywork and paintwork during Automechanika.

New is the ‘Collision Damage Repair Street’ where 14 workshop-equipment suppliers, paint manufacturers and collision-damage service providers show process-optimisation solutions. “We are delighted with the expansion of the successful event concept this year”, says Olaf Mußhoff, Director of Automechanika Frankfurt. “This enables us to strengthen Automechanika as the meeting place for companies and decision makers from the collision-damage market and show solutions for process optimisation in the workshop.”
Christian Simmert and Wolfgang Auer, attracted great interest on the part of bodywork repair specialists and workshops at the last Automechanika. The topics to be discussed with leading decision makers from the insurance and collision-damage management sectors, as well as the trade associations, include invoice deductions, price dumping through flat-rate offers, automobile service and the increasing competition.
