Paint & Panel has secured a special entry price to this year's Motorclassica (details at the end of the article). A super screen showing a live telecast of the Bathurst 1000 and new Awards for participants are among the refinements to this year’s Club Sandwich display within Motorclassica, 11 – 13 October.

Set to be staged at Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building, Motorclassica is Australasia’s premier annual exhibition of rare, classic, collectible and significant cars and motorcycles, which this year celebrates its landmark 10th anniversary.

One of Motorclassica’s most popular features annually is Club Sandwich, a revolving exhibition of car and motorcycle club displays situated adjacent to the main Royal Exhibition Building.

To date, over 25 different clubs from around Australia have confirmed their participation, and are anticipated to contribute around 210 vehicles per day for each of Motorclassica’s three days.

Club Sandwich will again be supported by Lorbek Luxury Cars with a spectacular display of modern and classic supercars and sports cars.

Motorclassica 2019’s final day will also see Club Sandwich’s beer garden host a super screen broadcasting the Bathurst 1000 live to show goers for the first time.

“For enthusiasts, Sunday’s final day at Motorclassica is going to be amazing with the opportunity to take in the whole show and enjoy breaks in the beer garden, watching Bathurst live. It doesn’t get any more Australian than that!” Event Director, Paul Mathers said.

Once again, Motorclassica will present daily Awards for the Best Presented Vehicle and Best Club Display on the Saturday and Sunday, sponsored this year by popular monthly UK magazine, Classic and Sports Car.

“It’s important to acknowledge the importance of the club movement here in Australia and the work each club and owner puts into presenting their club in the best possible light.  The Club Sandwich Awards reflect our ongoing commitment to the Club movement, and our new partnership with Classic & Sports Car puts these awards on an international stage,” Paul Mathers explained.

Another highlight of the Lorbek Luxury Cars Club Sandwich every year is the array of Melbourne’s hippest and most iconic Food Trucks that attend, with the likes of the Twisted Fisherman, 400 Gradi, Sliders on Tyres and Pierogi Pierogi so far confirmed for 2019.

“With the Food Trucks, the Beer Garden and a revolving display of more than 200 cars each day from 20+ clubs, plus of course the Bathurst broadcast on the Sunday, Club Sandwich is going to be an absolute highlight of Motorclassica 2019,” Paul Mathers said.
