PPG continues to be recognised for the way it does business with two more honours recently added to its burgeoning list.
For the second consecutive year PPG has been recognised with a Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, for its high employee engagement and notable workplace experience. Presented annually, this prestigious award recognises high-performing companies that align their business strategies around employees. PPG received the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for successfully embedding involvement and enthusiasm in its workplace culture to improve each stage of the employee lifecycle. “Our employee culture and alignment with our purpose – We protect and beautify the world – is something we pride ourselves on at PPG,” said Brenda Broad, PPG Global Head of Talent. “We recognise the value of engaged teams and understand that to generate the most success we must first create a nurturing environment with opportunities for growth and engagement. PPG was also recognised on Newsweek’s ‘Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2024’ list. The influential list uses a holistic approach to identify trusted companies that are performing exceptionally well on a national level. The 2024 ranking evaluates a pool of 97,000 companies headquartered in the U.S. across 23 industries with revenues exceeding US$500 million. “This recognition reinforces PPG’s reputation as a trusted company that values its customers, employees and investors,” said Bryan Iams, PPG Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. “We pride ourselves in not only producing high-quality products and services for our customers but also providing our global network of more than 50,000 employees with safe, healthy, and fulfilling work environments.”
