The Women in Collision awards, now in their seventh year, were created to recognise the outstanding contribution women make to the industry.

From shop owners to technicians in the workshop and every conceivable role in between, there are women who are the backbone of successful autobody businesses across the country. A range of sponsors have come together to ensure the awards are bigger and better than ever. Thanks to iBodyshop, BASF, PartsCheck, Wallaby Crash Supplies, 3M and GM Certified Collision Repair network who are all contributing extra prizes for this year's 10 winners on top of their stunning tophy and industry recognition. These include training courses, merchandise, pamper products and more.

Nominate a talented, determined, successful woman who makes a positive impact on your autobody repair facility for the 2020 Women in Collision awards on the Paint & Panel website.

Nominated before?

If you have nominated someone before and they were not selected as a winner please nominate again. It’s a different panel of judges each year and maybe you just needed to add a bit more detail to the Survey Monkey judging form. The act of nominating your team member is what counts so that they know they are valued. We will publish all the names of the women nominated.

Winners will be profiled in the magazine and presented their awards at the Women in Collision seminar on Friday 25 February (postponed from December)  which will take place in Sydney. The closed Women in Collision Facebook group now has nearly 350 members who regularly share knowledge and opinions – all women in the industry are welcome to join.

Click on the links below to nominate in each category:

The nominee or nominator must fill out a Survey Monkey form (links above) telling us all about the woman’s role in the business and why she deserves to win.  Finalists will be flown (where appropiate) to Sydney for the seminar and awards presentation and will make up the 2022 judging panel. We'll be telling you more about the seminar in the coming weeks.
