Paint & Panel has had report that the MTAQ in person Code of Conduct draft review was a highly engaging and productive session last Saturday 12 April.
What they did well was highlighting the key differences between the current and proposed Code. The forum was structured to encourage open discussion and genuine engagement. Participants were divided into small working groups and, over the course of three hours, collaboratively explored the proposed changes using the comparison slides. This format allowed for a wide range of insights and perspectives to be shared - providing valuable feedback directly from those most impacted by the Code.
Please note, the comparison slides are purely intended to outline the differences between the two versions. They do not indicate which is "right" or "wrong," but are designed to support transparent, informed discussion. Click here to download MTAQ Collision Industry Forum slides.
Paint & Panel has been informed that the Code of Conduct review period has been extended. Hopefully there will be a national online meeting for those who could not attend the MTA organised meetings around the country. The Code of Conduct review process is open to everyone in the industry whether they are MTA members or not. Visit the code consultation website to find out more.
