Congratulations to this year's winners of the 2025 Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards. We had a wonderful evening on the Gold Coast at HOTA on Friday 21 November. Apart from a fairly quick and predictable Queensland shower, the weather was perfect and the food excellent. There was such a great vibe in the room the 352 guests (two more than we should have had as the event was sold out weeks before) dressed up and looked fabulous.
Everyone gathered at 6pm for a pre-award drink or two with canapes and kisses and hugs all around. There was some comedy from the MC to start with and the awards got underway. Headline sponsor James Frape from Compass surprised Paint & Panel sales manager Lynette Rochford by bringing her up on stage and presenting a very fine bottle of champagne in recognition of her retirement and her contribution to the magazine and the awards program.

After the awards there was plenty of time to mingle, drink more and catch up. Next year we will find a bigger venue, we aim to get bigger and better each year, which the industry has widely acknowledged. Congratulations to all of the finalists - don't feel bad if you didn't win, making it as a finalist puts you in the industry elite - and there's always next year.
