CARe has announced that banking and insurance executive Leigh Bryan will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer from 1 October. This is a key appointment, supporting the leadership team and the directors
Bryan previously held senior executive roles with National Australia Bank prior to joining Suncorp as head of motor and home claims, presiding over the end to end management of almost half a million motor claims per annum. Bryan brings extensive knowledge of the Australian collision repair market and its associated supply chain.
His current role is head of strategy & sustainability for Suncorp Bank, focused on defining the strategic priorities for the business, specifically the delivery of the banks “Customer Obsession” and ESG milestones while leading the co-ordination of the sale to ANZ Bank.
CARe managing director Norman Moss said: “Leigh brings enormous experience to the CARe team in terms of people engagement, operational excellence and business transformation. He has proven expertise in running large scale distribution and operations businesses across Australia which is invaluable as CARe seek to create a national and international presence. He will introduce innovative training and development frameworks for our people with an expanded service offering to support the demands of our customers.”
Moss says that a key focus for CARe is developing its team at every level to broaden their capability. CARe is also working on what it believes will be an exciting and innovative traineeship and apprentice program which will be announced later this year.
