The theme of this year's L!VE half day conference at Melbourne's Arts Centre on 11 October is Game Changers. Book your ticket here.

It seems Game Changers are springing out at us from every aspect of the business - vehicle technology, repair methods, next generation customers, artificial intelligence etc, etc, etc (with a side helping of etc).

One of the biggest game changers are our next generation of customers (and employees) loosely known as Millennials. We'll be hearing about millennial expectations in terms of customer experience and how they want to interact with their service providers and how to motive them in the workplace. A panel made up predominatly of Millennials will discuss whether the Australian vehicle repair industry is ready to meet Millennial expectations.

Recalibration and ADAS has been a painful game changer for the repair industry blowing out key to key times - we disuccuss ways eliminating delays.

With the charging infrastructure finally underway in Australia, the much heralded era of the electric or hybrid electric will slowly start to dawn. What do you need to know in terms of technology and repair procedures and how soon will you have to train and gear up?

We'll have Brian Hill from Verisk Analytics, who advise insurers globably, telling us how artificial intelligence is alreay being used to assess whether a vehicle is a total loss at the accident scene.

We'll finish up hearing from repairers who have adopted game-changing strategies to give them a competitive edge.

The Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards gala dinner takes place that same evening and is the ideal opportunity for networking in a relaxed environment. Last year around 200 award winners, industry suppliers, and bodyshop teams attended this glittering event. Come and cheer on the award winners. There's a special 'combo' ticket price for both events. Click here to book.
