3SS, which claims it is a leading provider of software solutions enabling content on every screen from in-home to in-vehicle consoles, says it is re-shaping entertainment on the move.
The company has developed what it believes is a revolutionary tech solution which enables the seamless integration of streaming content to in-car systems.
The technology will be on display along with further developments at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2026.
“Modern consumers expect the same seamless streaming experience in their vehicles that they enjoy at home, with instant access to Prime, Spotify, YouTube, and dozens of other platforms. However, integrating each service can be complex in terms of customer experience, integration, ongoing maintenance, and constant compatibility management,” head of automotive for 3SS, Felix Walter, said.
However, the question remains as to whether drivers need more distractions taking their concentration off the road and while the technology is advancing at a rapid pace, can law makers keep up with the pace to make sure road users are using the technology safely and responsibly?
Certainly in most states of Australia laws are already in place that outlaw a driver being able to use streaming technology for entertainment purposes while a vehicle is moving.
