I-CAR has been engaged by BMW to oversee its Collision Repair Training program incorporating Body Level 2, Body Level 3, fundamentals of steel and fundamentals of aluminium and joins a growing list of vehicle manufacturer programs operating under the I-CAR banner.
“As a leading vehicle manufacturer, BMW has continued to develop and implement a range of emerging new technologies that provide a much safer product in the unfortunate situation of vehicle accidents." said I-CAR CEO Mark Czvitkovits. "Ensuring that collision repair technicians are adequately trained means that any vehicle repaired following an accident is not only repaired in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, but is also performed by technicians with
the required high level of skill.”
Ben Kirby, BMW Bodyshop Programme Manager said “BMW engaged I-CAR to administer the program as they are considered industry leaders in collision repair training and have outstanding relationships with current BMW partners including BASF, Car-O-Liner and Chisholm Institute.
"Their programs are also endorsed by many of Australia’s leading insurers who understand and recognise the complexity of modern vehicle repair.”
